Netto Collection sees the health of our children as inseparable from the health of our planet. So they use only sustainably harvested wood. All their composite materials meet the stringent European "E1" toxicity standards. Their finishes are non-toxic and non-VOC emitting. Thanks to Overstock, you can buy the CUB crib for $179.99 instead of $499 and the changing table for $129.99. The catch: these pieces are “slight seconds,” meaning that there could be very slight imperfections to the finish, but there is nothing wrong with the way the furniture was built.

A lovely way to start the year with Rebecca Peragine's art. She is a collage artist, focusing on eco-friendly original art and textiles. All her original art is made from recycled materials, including the wood the art is created on. She pays particular attention to the recycled papers she uses; making sure viewers can see both what the material was in its past life and what it has become since. It adds an educational and inspirational element to each piece. I love it.
